Haul: Sephora Friends & Family 2011

I'm sure everyone's curious to know what everyone else got for Sephora's Friends & Family sale! I was lucky enough that a good friend of mine works at Sephora and sent me a postcard that I was able to use in stores for 20% off one item. So after pawing through the Sephora website while waiting for my postcard, I decided on this...

I decided to get Too Faced Sweet Dreams Set (here).

I've never used Too Faced before. I owned their eye primer Shadow Insurance once a long time ago and I didn't like the tube, and I didn't give it much of a chance but I sold it. I did however fall in love with their eye shadow In Cop A Teal while I was in Vegas and I've always been curious about their chocolate bronzers so I figured why not just give this set a try. Not only does it come with 15 shadows, it also comes with Chocolate Soleil Bronzer, Candlelight Glow Highlight Powder, a blush in Cocoa Rose and Sweet Pink and a full sized Shadow Insurance. Sure $52 is a pretty high price but with 20% off and that much more in addition to what I originally wanted, seemed pretty worth it.

Other things I purchased (but didn't get the 20% off on) is the Hello Kitty nail polish in Gold Sparkle. Honestly, I don't know how I feel about the Hello Kitty line, but since I did grow up on Sanrio, I thought I'd pick at least one thing up from this collection. Besides, I like to glitter my nail tips during the holidays.

Another thing I got was the Sephora Collection Nail Polish Corrector Pen. I've had a few of these in the past but never really used them and they ended up drying out. I actually got around to trying this and OMG, I have been missing out. Big time! This thing is amazing! Now here's to hoping it won't dry out so quickly!

I also got a sample of the Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet foundation. The MUA at Sephora matched me perfect on her first try. Impressive! The girls at MAC have a hard time matching me, go figure right? So I'm pretty excited to try it, I've heard good things about it. My skin is weird though, so I'm hoping it will be nice enough to at least try to cooperate!

So I'm curious, what did you get during Sephora's Friends & Family sale?
